Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away I was a dental nurse working in my local NHS dental practice…
And during those almost 10 amalgam filled years I came across plenty of children and adults suffering tooth decay and gum disease which was mainly due to poor dental hygiene.
So I am very happy to be collaborating with Wrigley’s Extra by reviewing their new publication The Lost Smile
Smile & the whole world smiles with you…
Interestingly, even today all these years later the 1st thing I usually notice about people is their smile
Maintaining a beautiful smile and a healthy mouth is hugely important and actually is quite simple to achieve by following a good, twice daily oral hygiene routine and by attending regular 6 monthly dental check-ups with your friendly local dentist.
The Lost Smile is written by award winning children’s poet Joseph Coelho & is illustrated by Sheena Dempsy; this delightfully written & charmingly illustrated book is about a little boy named Kyle who notices his lovely family aren’t smiling as much as usual so he embarks on a quest to recover their happy smiling faces.
The Lost Smile handily contains some easy to follow dental hints on how to keep your families teeth & gums tip top & healthy!
