During our long distance video calls Lauren from Motherhood & Beyond and I often dream about what our practically perfect Disney day dining and chatting around World Showcase would consist of…
It goes without saying that Disney, eating & talking are my most favourite indulgences – so you can imagine how I’d love to spend the entire day wandering around World Showcase at Epcot with my dear friend & Disney Parks Moms Panelist alumni Lauren.
It goes without saying that getting the best value for money is important and that’s why Lauren & I are both fans of the Disney Dining Plan – put simply the DDP is a pre-paid dining package designed for Guests staying in a Walt Disney World owned & run Resort.
To get the best bang for your buck my top Disney Dining Plan tip is to be sure to order the most expensive food items on the menu!
Disclaimer – Calories don’t exist at Walt Disney World Resort which means everyone can pig out & turn themselves into Greedy the 8th dwarf!!
I adore snacking my way around World Showcase & had real trouble in choosing just 3 locations…. Kringle Bakeri Og Kafe has so, so many great value snacks and even has a Frozen inspired Anna’s Birthday Cupcake!
No-one makes ice-cream quite like the Italians so be sure to make a cool stop at Gelati for the most delicious gelato!
The aroma of freshly baked pastries from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is hypnotic and utterly irresistible plus the macarons are magnifique!
Table Service Choices
Well being British I would choose going to the pub wouldn’t I?! I recommend the satisfying fish and chips but not the americanised mushy peas and of course The Rose & Crown offers one of the best viewing spots for IllumiNations; Reflections of Earth.
When in America it’s kinda rude not to eat pizza and my goodness will you get a great pizza here at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria! At this unique dining experience pizzas are traditionally cooked in 1 of 3 wood-burning ovens named after Italy’s 3 active volcanos – Etna, Vesuvius and Stromboli; you’ll lava it!
Quick Service Choices
I can’t recommend the Lotus Blossom Cafe enough! I always have the yummy orange chicken with steamed rice which is a good sized meal without being heavy.
I’m breaking with the rules here as Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is really more about snacks, but I love it so much I couldn’t leave it out! #hypnotisedbythearoma
The light and airy setting of the beautiful Tangierine Cafe is simply perfect for a light lunch and my favourite choice is shawarma chicken platter – the hummus is just divine!

I guess Lauren & I will just keep on dreaming big until we see each again sometime real soon!
